While discussing the upcoming AEW ALL IN 2026 in the Violent People Community Discord Server, which you should join, I said that, as I am regrettably attending this show, I will write a Road Report for the site, hopefully coming soon. This prompted Colette of BIG EGG and The Patron Saints of Sick Sons of Bitches to suggest I should do a ranking of every wrestler on the AEW ALL IN 2026 card by how excited I am to see them.

As I am the ranking boy after the crushing success of my MLW hot dog piece, this led to the beautiful and only occasionally irritating members of the Violent People Community Discord Server pitching in with other ways I could rank this set of wrestlers. Then Simon of handwerk reviews said I should do a ranking of these different rankings.

So here we are. I have 20 suggested rankings. I will rank these rankings against each other and also, within each ranking, rank the wrestlers according to the criteria of said ranking. It’s very simple.

Due to the nature of time, this list will not include whoever answers the trios title open challenge, the surprise competitors in the AEW World Title #1 Contendership Casino Gauntlet Match, or any of the wrestlers who will be in the yet to be announced pre-show matches.

Through my many mistakes in life, I am now forever tied to the 2012 Royal Rumble, so I should have seen this coming. But only one wresttler currently announced for AEW ALL IN 2026 competed in the 2012 Royal Rumble, so how am I supposed to rank them then, huh?

Of the people who competed in that match, only three of them are on the AEW roster: Chris Jericho whos got a match, the semi-retired Paul White, and the fully retired Mick Foley. Now, maybe one of those last 2 men could show up in a match as a surprise, and perhaps their fellow 2012 Royal Rumble competitors Sheamus or Kofi Kingston could make their debut at the show. But I can’t rank that because that’s not how time works!

It’s understandable that, after the generation-defining success of ‘MLW Roster Ranked By How Many Hot Dogs I Think They Can Eat’, I would want to chase that high again and stick with what we know works. But I’m not a hack; I’m an artist. I will never return to hot-dog-based wrestler ranking ever again.

So there’s not, like, an encyclopaedia I can go to to look up what every wrestler’s worst bump is. I would have to research what each of these 25 wrestlers’ worst bump is, and that’s way too much work for something like this.

And even if I just look up “Jamie Hayter worst bump”, there isn’t going to be an agreed upon answer. So am I supposed to watch every Jamie Hayter match ever to find out what the worst bump she’s taken is? Even for someone famous for bumping like Darby Allin, there isn’t a consensus on “this is the single worst bump he’s ever taken.” So what do you want me to do here?

This one suffers because, again, I have very little to go on. How good is Kyle Fletcher at cooking? Who knows. Cooking isn’t a personality based skill. You can judge how funny you think someone is after meeting them; you can’t really judge how good they would be at making tiramisu.

Okay, I’m walking on eggshells here, which is why this ranks on the lower end. I think, in the wokest way possible, the only way you can get good at an accent is if you often interact with people who have that accent. Look, do I feel great saying the three best at doing a Jamaican accent are Nigel McGuinness, Christian Cage, and Jon Moxley? Nigel and Christian are here because Toronto and London are two of the cities with the largest Jamaican diasporas, so at least there’s a logic there.

As for Moxley, look, he’s got the experience. Those who remember his HWA tag team with King Vu will remember that they had a Jamaican gimmick.

Wrestlers are obsessed with copying movies, though, normally by describing every feud they’ve ever been in as, “We’re like Batman and the Joker, destined to do this forever.” This is because most wrestlers are hacks, so they like to hack movies from hack directors.

Not the most comfortable making this ranking. Something about the whole thing feels immoral. However, it’s pretty funny.

This ranking is intriguing because you’ve got to be fighting a battle on two sides. There are going to be the wrestlers who won’t kiss you at all, and also the wrestlers who will kiss you with greater passion. Much to think about.
